Texts under discussion. English for post- graduates of Economics, Moscow, 2007, 319 p. The article is devoted to the problem of education for future in- dustrial leaderships. The main idea is that primary attention in manager is training be given to developing mental flexibility, skills for thinking logically, analytically and creatively. That author describes in short all the changes that future managers will face with. That is why he stresses that the major emphasis in education for businessmen will be on man- agement, especially of the larger industrial firms. Further the author reports that management education will have to embrace four areas: the first is organization and administration; the second area is economic management; the third area is the market envi- ronment; the fourth area is the non-market environment. The article describes everything that each area includes. At the end of the article the author comes to the conclusion that all foreseeable trends point to a greater need for broad education and progressive thinking of managers.
