88 Тема 3. THE ENTERPRISE STAFF AND ITS EFFICIENT WORK 3.1. Composition, structure and number of company personnel The enterprise employs different number of individuals, who help it implement its activities, serve and manage its economic activity. All these individuals are the enterprise staff. Its composition evolves from the distribution of work in the enterprise. In that particular case we have in mind the individual distribution of work that separates the several functions in the company activities, such as organization, eco- nomic and administrative management of the manufacturing, as well as direct production and servicing functions. These functions are distrib- uted in a certain way according to the managerial subordination of the staff members. The enterprise staff includes all persons that manage, perform or operate the manufacturing activity. Generally, there is a la- bour contract, complying with labour legislation between the owner and the enterprise staff. Alongside, there are individuals employed tempo- rarily or permanently on civil contracts. In that way the staff may be divided into internal and external one. This delimitation is important for the evaluation of movement and usage of the staff, as well as for determination of some economic parameters that characterize the con- tribution of its every group.
