This is the best-informed person about the activity of the organization and its environment. Informational roles They are related to the interpersonal roles and the access to in- formation, which they provide. The informational managerial roles are also three: The first role is that of a receiver of information. The manager constantly seeks internal and external information from various sources. A major part of it is current and not recorded, which imposes the development of relevant information system for the manager. In this role the manager processes the information received; The second informational role is called disseminator of informa- tion. By performing it the manager delivers part of the internal and ex- ternal information to his/her subordinates. The manager also distributes the correspondence and gives vocal messages. The third informational role is the role of a spokesman (represen- tative). The manager establishes contacts with external organizations. In this case he/she acts as an expert. The manager is responsible before the society for the work of his/her organization and sends useful infor- mation for its work. Decision - making roles They result from the information, knowledge and power of the manager. Every manager has the formal power and access to specific in- formation. It gives him/her an opportunity to participate in the imple- mentation of the organization’s strategy. Four roles related to decision making are : An initiator ( entrepreneur ) – the manager undertakes and con- ducts most of the purposeful changes in the organization. He/she looks for new opportunities, develops projects, proposes changes and controls
