THE FACTOR OF PERSONALITY IN THE MANAGEMENT In this part the goal is to reveal the basic problems, which are solved by the manager, the different management roles and skills, man- agement mistakes and factors of success, the conditions of the devel- opment of managers as well as to acquaint with power and its influence in management. Together with the well-built organizational structures and ration- ally executed managerial functions, activities and procedures for effec- tive work and for the success of every organization, major role also play the qualities and capabilities of the people who manage it. In most cases they are the decisive factor for the development of the managed unit. 5.1. Main problems to be solved by the manager The manager is the person who is assigned to run a formal or- ganization or some of its departments. Within the organization, he has formal power, which he/she uses to solve certain tasks, such as: a) Ensuring effective manufacturing of specific for the organiza- tion products or services; b) Keeping the organization stable and its adapting in a certain way to the changing environment; c) Formulating of new goals and tasks of the organization; d) Establishing suitable social and psychological climate in working groups and the organization as a whole; e) Keeping appropriate interpersonal relationships.
