The somatometry of modern students of the humanities compared with their peers in the professional profile of the nineteenth century of the city of Arzamas, showed the pattern of enlargement of the population of urban students, significant increases in the absolute values of length, body mass, and circumference of the chest with a standard deviation and variation coefficient.
