The right definition of the components of the market of your product or service is of great importance. In this way you understand: What goods and services you should manufacture? What you should not manufacture? For whom you manufacture those goods? What the quality should be? Where you should supply those goods and services? The size of the market or the demand for a definite good or service is the entire quantity of that good or service, required by the market which can be easily exchanged for money. It is very im- portant to make the right quantitative and qualitative evaluation of the demand of your product or service because it will answer your ques- tions: How many of these goods or service should be manufactured? At what price should these goods or services be sold? Take into consideration that the market is not stable. It is not sure whether the market will last for long. The demand of your products or services will be affected by a change in the consumers’ behavior. This consumer behavior is related to the following questions : • What goods and services consumers buy? • Why they buy these products and services? • Under what conditions they would not buy these products and services? • When they buy these products and services? • Where they buy these products and services from? • How they buy these products and services? The behavior of the consumers is strongly influenced by their personal values. But the most important thing is to be able to under- stand that these personal values do change and from here, the necessity for change of the supply of products and services. If your company does not offer to the customers what they need at the price they are willing to pay, there would be another company which would offer ex- actly that thing they want and you would not be able to sell your goods and services.
