Choice of the Organization Form of the Business The main problem at the starting up stage of an organization is connected with the choice of the organizational form of the business. There are several basic organizational forms of business: sole trader, partnership, cooperation, etc. They all exist under the name "company". Besides that, there is entrepreneurship without an entrepreneur own company. For instance: in Bulgaria the agricultural producers – physical persons who are registered as producers in District Offices of State Fund "Agriculture". For certain types of businesses some special licenses are required. Each of the legal forms has their own disadvantages and advan- tages. When choosing the business legal form it is necessary to take into consideration the following more important issues: • What kind of organizational form will be more suitable for you? • What organizational, legal and other kind of expenses will be necessary for the starting stage? • How will your own property be involved in paying off to your creditors and in case of bankruptcy or liquidation of the company for other reasons? • In what way can you attract additional capital? • To what extents can you actively participate in the management of your company? • In what way the chosen organizational form will influence the perspectives of your business. 1.2.2.
